ABOUT OMEGA DOG TRAINING
Relationship-based training that works.
Omega Dog Training was founded on the belief that true partnership with our dogs is built on trust, respect, and understanding, not outdated dominance models. The name Omega is a tongue-in-cheek nod to the long-debunked “alpha theory.” While “alpha” training places the human first, Omega Dog Training flips the hierarchy. Here, the dog comes first and the trainer comes last.

Rebecca, the heart behind Omega Dog Training, brings both academic knowledge and extensive hands-on experience. She holds diplomas in Canine Communication and Pet Psychology, and has completed several courses with the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT), grounding her practice in science-led, compassionate methods. Beyond qualifications, she has dedicated over 6,000 hours working in three of the UK’s major animal rescue organisations, supporting dogs of every background, temperament, and challenge.

This blend of deep study and real-world experience has shaped Rebecca’s ethos: training is not about control, it is about connection. Her goal is to make training accessible to everyone, helping owners and their dogs long before difficult situations reach the point where rehoming might be considered.
Omega Dog Training helps guardians and dogs build strong, lasting relationships where both sides feel seen, heard, and valued.
